Badung, February 1, 2026 – The Board of Trustees (MWA) of Hasanuddin University conducted a site visit for the planned development of Hasanuddin University’s international class in Bali on February 1, 2026. This activity is part of the strategic agenda for the internationalization of higher education and the expansion of Hasanuddin University’s academic services at the global level.
The location visited is in the Dalung area, Badung Regency, which is an asset of Hasanuddin University and has the potential to be developed as a center for international academic activities or a satellite campus. The visit was conducted to obtain a factual overview of the physical condition of the buildings and land, accessibility, the surrounding environment, and the support of the ecosystem in the area.
Based on the initial inspection results, the location was assessed to have strategic value in terms of access, supporting environment, and proximity to educational areas and international activities. The area was deemed conducive to supporting learning activities, international class programs, short courses, and academic collaboration with foreign partners.
The MWA of Hasanuddin University emphasized that the results of this review will be followed up with further studies covering aspects of legality, spatial planning, building technicalities, cost analysis, and operational sustainability before being designated as part of the development of Hasanuddin University’s international academic services.
As part of a working visit to Bali, the Board of Trustees (MWA) of Hasanuddin University held the 2026 MWA Working Meeting prior to a site visit in Badung on January 31, 2026.
