Makassar, April 24, 2025 – The Board of Trustees (MWA) of Hasanuddin University officially established the Regulation on Development of Unhas’s Partnerships in a meeting held at the MWA Meeting Room, 4th Floor, Hasanuddin University Rectorate Building, Thursday (25/4).

The meeting, chaired by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. Andi Alimuddin Unde, M.Si., was attended by leaders and members of the Board of Trustees as well as the regulation drafting team. The main agenda of the meeting was the finalization and establishment of new rules that had gone through a discussion process.

In his presentation, Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Arsyad Thaha, MT., IPM., explained that this regulation consists of 12 articles, with the core substance in Chapters II, III, and IV. The regulation aims to strengthen network development strategies, expand partnerships, and support the development of the Unhas Endowment Fund, which is the leading performance indicator for State Universities with Legal Entities (PTNBH).

Vice Rector IV for Partnership, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Business, Prof. Dr. Eng. Adi Maulana, ST, MT, stated that this regulation strongly supports Unhas’ partnership and internationalization strategies in academic and non-academic fields. He also emphasized the importance of involving work units in Unhas and opportunities for developing double degree programs for students, which have begun to be developed together in several faculties within the scope of Unhas with partners from overseas PT institutions.

The meeting lasted for approximately one hour, and finally agreed on the establishment of the MWA Regulation on Development of Unhas’s Partnerships. Furthermore, the rector’s regulation will be prepared as a derivative of this regulation to support technical implementation at the university level.
