The Board of Trustees (MWA) of Hasanuddin University held a meeting to discuss the MWA Regulation on the Establishment and Management of Foundations on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at the MWA Meeting Room on the 4th floor of the Hasanuddin University Rectorate Building. The meeting was chaired by the Chair of the MWA and attended by MWA members and the Foundation Regulation Drafting Team.

This meeting was part of the MWA Unhas’ efforts to strengthen institutional governance through the drafting of comprehensive legal frameworks in line with applicable laws and regulations. During the discussion, the team emphasized the importance of a comprehensive review of the structure of the regulations, including the preamble, dictum, and articles, to ensure that they are truly contextual to the needs of Hasanuddin University.

As a follow-up, the initial draft of the regulations will be distributed to all team members for input and refinement. The Unhas MWA also plans to hold a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) in the near future to discuss the draft regulations in more depth, including their structure and substance.

Through this process, the Unhas MWA hopes that the Regulation on the Establishment and Management of Foundations can become a strong, accountable, and sustainable legal basis in supporting institutional development and maintaining the integrity of Hasanuddin University’s governance.
