Praise be to Allah SWT who has glorified us with faith, and guided us to the greatness of His Shari’a. Sholawat and greetings for the Prophet Muhammad SAW, a great leader and role model through his sunnah.

In conducting Legal Entity Universities (PTNBH), the Hasanuddin University’s Board of Trustees (MWA) is entitled to a very strategic position as it not only functions in electing and appointing the Chancellor, but is also authorized to determine the institution general policies and University norms and standards. In addition, this body plays an important role in supervising planning and budget use as well as approving Hasanuddin University’s strategic plans.

Since formed in March 2016, the MWA organ has been developing dynamically. To date, MWA has experienced three management periods 2016-2019, 2019-2023, and 2023-2027. While the journey of MWA started with carrying out a fairly large scope of responsibility, the MWA management tried as hard as possible to carry out its duties as stated in the Statutes of Hasanuddin University which is stipulated by Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 53 of 2015. The MWA also works independently, referred to Good University Governance (GUG), and always maintains synergy and harmony with other organs, namely the Chancellor and the Academic Senate by referring to the provisions of the applicable laws.
