'Creating a conducive atmosphere for the realization of Hasanuddin University' vision'

MWA as an organ of Unhas-PTNBH is obliged to support the realization of all efforts to realize Unhas’ vision, namely: ‘A center of excellence in human development, science, technology, arts, and culture based on the Indonesian maritime continent’.

To play its role and make a contribution, the MWA is in accordance with its duties and authority, namely: giving approval, determining, ratifying, supervising and evaluating, formulating its strategic vision which focuses on creating a conducive environment. A conducive environment here means a working atmosphere that is comfortable, calm and peaceful, so that all Unhas components can work optimally in their respective fields of work. This is done in the following way:

  1. Prioritize deliberation to reach consensus in handling problems.
  2. Maintain manners, ethics and politeness in carrying out their duties and functions.
  3. Make rules, values and norms the basis for carrying out their duties and functions.

MISI

The formulation of the MWA mission according to its duties and functions will encourage, maintain, supervise and evaluate the following matters:

  1. Implement Unhas governance very well (Good University Governance, GUG). To realize this, the necessary requirements must be prepared from now on, especially the necessary regulations.
  2. Increase Unhas’ international reputation and role in national development. International reputation is Unhas’ target as stated in the 2030 Unhas Development Plan, and Unhas’ role in national development is Unhas’ social responsibility so it must be a reference in preparing the annual work plan.
  3. Form a synergistic network at the national, regional and international levels. Networking is a strength that Unhas needs as PTNBH to achieve its performance targets. All organs need to strive to build a synergistic network, so this must be a priority.
  4. Realizing the identity and character of Unhas (a modern and environmentally friendly campus for the benefit of the Indonesian Maritime Continent). The 2030 Unhas Development Plan mandates that the Unhas campus be modern and environmentally friendly, as well as the benefit of the maritime continent. Thus, strategic steps are needed for its realization.
